Lara Rose

Principal, Landscape Architect

Lara leads the design of many of the firm’s public landscapes. She has played leading roles on projects throughout the country, including downtown parks, gardens and waterfronts; urban design and campus projects; and sites that support culture and education. Her projects foster exploration and reflection, and are grounded in strong ideas, local ecologies and finished craft.

Lara works closely with client groups to create projects that take on special meaning for their cities and communities. She is actively engaged in Seattle’s design community and sits on professional and academic advisory committees and award juries. Her work has been featured in Landscape Architecture Magazine, and has been recognized with awards from the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, American Planning Association, Society for College and University Planning, and others.
