LANDSCAPE DESIGNER (2-4 years)
Walker Macy is seeking a talented landscape designer with two to four years of relevant professional experience to assist with the design and technical development of projects as part of our growing office in Seattle, Washington.
Walker Macy is a design firm that provides landscape architecture, urban design and planning services throughout the Western United States. While our focus is on public projects – including parks, waterfronts, and campuses – we have a broad range of work that includes site design for civic and cultural buildings, interpretive centers, and mixed use development. We have a collaborative and team-oriented professional culture with a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
This position requires a professional degree in landscape architecture (BLA or MLA), detail-oriented design skills, experience producing construction documents for medium or large-scale projects, and graphic and rendering abilities. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and flexible, with strong communication skills, a willingness to take initiative and an interest in working as part of a team. Professional experience in an office setting, and experience working in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and Rhino is preferred.
