Eagle Harbor Waterfront Park

The redevelopment of Eagle Harbor Waterfront Park provides an accessible and experientially rich connection from Bainbridge Island’s town center to Puget Sound. Walker Macy’s approach preserves existing forest, while providing new public gathering spaces and waterfront routes. The design features a plaza flanked by seatwalls that offer views down to the water, a terrace for informal gatherings and events, and a substantial stormwater garden that treats a 6.5-acre watershed upland of the park.
