The Field Arts and Event Hall will be a vibrant performing arts center that promises to make an enduring cultural and economic impact on the North Olympic Peninsula. The site is part of the Waterfront Center, a 1.6 acre campus at the edge of downtown that Walker Macy helped master plan. This new civic campus will provide connections to the existing waterfront park and future development including the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe Cultural Center and the Marine Discovery Center.
The Field Arts and Event Hall is the first built project, and provides a civic anchor that is grounded in its surroundings – connected both physically and in spirit to the town, the working waterfront and the natural environment of the Olympic Peninsula and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
