Taj Hanson

A Portland native with almost a decade spent in Seattle, Taj’s professional motivation is rooted in community development, design activism, transformation of dysfunctional urban spaces, and ecological resilience. Taj views landscape architecture as a platform to solve complex social and environmental problems, facilitate meaningful experiences, and create beauty within our urban human habitats. His management experience includes a diverse array of project types and scales, including public parks, civic, transit, educational, and commercial work. He finds creative value in orchestrating all project phases, from concept design through construction administration.
