As we look forward to a new year of successful collaboration with project partners and clients, we’re proud to announce several promotions within our dedicated team:
- Brian Bishop is now a Principal. Brian is an inspired designer who excels at collaborations with architects and clients on civic, mixed use, higher education and urban park projects. Based in our Seattle office, Brian has helped lead the UW ICA Basketball Training Facility, Deschutes Public Library projects and Ellensburg Unity Park.
- Greg Murphy has been promoted to Associate Principal. Walker Macy’s Technical Director, Greg is detail-oriented and a natural mentor. With over 30 years of experience as a landscape architect, he has been instrumental in refining technical standards for the office, leading QA/QC reviews, and advising teams on documentation and construction efforts.
- Freya Desis has been promoted to Associate. An emerging leader in the marketing department, she works closely with the design team to elevate the firm’s graphic design and storytelling.
