A series of concentric circles blending into the basalt bluffs, perched 2,840 feet above the Columbia River, the Nancy Russell Overlook restores a degraded site and offers panoramic views of the Gorge. The overlook honors Nancy Russell, a lifelong advocate for public spaces throughout the National Scenic Area who was instrumental in preserving this site for public access and environmental restoration.
