Dry Falls Visitor Center Master Plan

Our master plan for Dry Falls calls for a revitalized interpretation scheme that unifies built elements with the stunning landscape, and modernizes the entry and arrival areas. The interpretive exhibits will make the facility central in a regional network of Ice Age Floods sites for Washington State Parks. The existing 1960s modernist visitor center building was recommended for removal in the original masterplan, but may be renovated per more recent Washington State Parks planning. The long term vision would be a modern, high-efficiency, universally accessible visitor center that blends into the landscape and interpretive experience. Local materials are used throughout the proposed site plan, creating a seamless experience for visitors.
