Amazon Headquarters: Block 35

Amazon’s headquarters stands at the center of Seattle’s transformed South Lake Union district. With plazas, roof gardens, public art, green streets, the landscape demonstrates the value of public outdoor spaces as workplace and urban amenities, and set a high benchmark for sustainable redevelopment. This project was one of several blocks designed for Amazon along with public realm improvements that connect the neighborhood, including an alley converted into a pedestrian open space and shared streetscapes on Terry Avenue.
