Chenxin brings a thoughtful and culturally grounded perspective to her work as a landscape designer at Walker Macy. Inspired by frequent childhood visits to traditional Chinese gardens, she was drawn to landscape architecture through a deep appreciation for the way green spaces can shape emotion and experience. Her design approach focuses on integrating natural elements into urban environments to enrich everyday life, promote mental well-being, and strengthen public space. With experience in both China and the U.S., including work on academic, civic, and institutional projects, Chenxin excels at translating complex ideas into evocative visualizations and buildable landscapes. She is particularly passionate about site-sensitive design and the power of small green interventions in urban settings. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and visiting historic sites, always seeking new ways to connect people and place.
