Walker Macy is seeking a talented landscape architect or landscape designer or with four to six years of relevant professional experience to assist in the design and technical development of projects as part of our growing office in Portland, Oregon.
Walker Macy is a design firm that provides landscape architecture, urban design and planning services throughout the Western United States. While our focus is on public projects – including parks, waterfronts, and campuses – we have a broad range of work that includes site design for civic and cultural buildings, interpretive centers, and mixed use development. We have a collaborative and team-oriented professional culture with a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
This position requires a professional degree in landscape architecture (BLA or MLA), detail-oriented design skills, graphic representation, experience producing construction documents for medium or large-scale projects, and experience coordinating with other design and engineering consultants. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and flexible, with strong communication skills, a willingness to take initiative and an interest in working as part of a team. Professional experience working in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and Rhino is preferred.
