Walker Macy is a core team member designing bond-funded improvements for several key plazas in the heart of the Oregon Zoo: the Entry Plaza, Polar Plaza, and a plaza adjacent to the Elephant Lands. Polar Plaza will feature a pavilion that can better support public events and gatherings, while the Entry area is being studied for future queuing, wayfinding, experiential, shade and rain protection, and accessibility improvements.
