Drishti Gandhi

Urban Designer

Drishti approaches urban design with a global perspective and a people-centered lens, shaped by her experiences across India, Europe, the U.S., and Southeast Asia. Originally trained as an architect in Mumbai, she was drawn to urban design through a growing fascination with the ways public spaces shape—and are shaped by—culture and everyday life. Her work explores the interplay between urban and natural systems, seeking to create resilient environments that respond to both ecological context and community needs. At Walker Macy, she brings a collaborative spirit and a strong foundation in research, design strategy, and visual storytelling. Whether mapping regional networks or designing neighborhood-scale interventions, Drishti is committed to creating spaces that are thoughtful, adaptable, and deeply connected to the people who use them.
