Westport Brownfield Revitalization

This project provides a long-term vision and implementation strategy to revitalize key civic areas, commercial corridors, and waterfront areas of Westport, Washington. Supported by state and EPA grants, the project primarily focuses on two City-owned catalyst sites: the Pacific Avenue Waterfront Property and the Former City Hall and Maintenance Yard Properties. Both sites are classified as contaminated brownfields; the plan aims to transform the area into a revitalized town center with improved housing options, enhanced public spaces and streetscapes, and public waterfronts . The resulting vision and action plan will guide future public investment, environmental cleanup, policy decisions, and private development to support economic vitality and improve quality of life for Westport residents and visitors.
