Good Samaritan Hospital

Walker Macy developed the landscapes for this new hospital, including emergency services and patient care tower. The firm’s work encompassed all site circulation, arrival areas, and a series of restorative outdoor spaces. The gardens and courtyards are integral parts of Good Samaritan’s patient care program, providing significant respite to patients and their families, and a high level of finish and craftsmanship was required to provide users with an appropriate setting for healing. They also showcase the hospital’s commitment to sustainability: green roofs, bioswales and other stormwater features helped achieve LEED Gold certification.
