Simon comes from the east coast, where the places that most fascinated him were the rich and complex urban mosaics of the large northeastern cities. There, he fostered a deep appreciation for well-designed public space and its importance in cities, where public space is both difficult and expensive to come by. Outside of work, he enjoys long treks though all environments, both built and natural. He is excited to explore the west’s rugged coasts, old forests, and striking mountain peaks.
