Morgan comes to Walker Macy after several years of practice in New Orleans, where she became interested in urban design that supports an equitable society as well as a healthy environment. In New Orleans, Morgan understood that complex social and environmental systems are often inextricable; what one does to the environment affects the people, and how one treats people affects their environment. “The natural landscape provides us with respite and ease, alleviates our stress, and contributes to the health of our communities. The urban landscape provides us with connection, art, vibrancy, and the ability to act together to improve our world. We need both and a good designer will provide for each to the right extent in the right places.” Morgan graduated with both her Bachelor and Master of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
When not designing, Morgan is an artist in the mediums of watercolor, oil painting, and woodworking. She is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest discovering new hiking trails to explore with her family.
