Amy joined Walker Macy’s Portland office as a Senior Associate and Landscape Architect after more than 13 years of practice in Seattle. She has played leading roles on award-winning cultural, campus, and urban design projects throughout the country. Prior to joining Walker Macy, her work included the National Museum of African American History and Culture, public gardens and plazas at Seattle Center, and other urban design, streetscape, and park projects for public and institutional clients.
Amy is known for developing design concepts that sensitively consider people’s experience and are grounded in each site’s history, natural systems, and contextual connections. Collaboration is one of Amy’s favorite aspects of our profession and she excels at working with people to sort through the multiple facets of complicated projects to develop design solutions that have conceptual clarity from site design to detailing.
