We are seeking a talented urban designer with at least two years of relevant experience in an urban design-related practice to assist with planning and urban design work in our Portland office. This position requires a professional degree in urban design and planning (postgraduate level), landscape architecture (BLA or MLA), or architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch). The position requires a strong understanding of physical planning and design as well as clear graphic communication skills and working abilities in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, GIS, CAD, and SketchUp/Rhino. Hand drawing skills are an asset. Our ideal team member will have writing and communication skills, and will be self-motivated, rigorous, collaborative, organized, and efficient. This position will support project management, including team coordination, scheduling, and deadline management of our work.
