Walker Macy

Walker Macy worked with an ODOT team and the Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife to daylight approximately 150 linear feet of Wakefield Creek near the Corvallis-Newport Highway. The design solved a steep gradient issue by incorporating 3 buried check dams that allowed fish passage while protecting the footings of the new open-bottom culvert from downcutting.
