“As an artist, I find my inspiration within the landscape around me. From the vibrant greens of the trees in the spring to the fiery reds and oranges of the leaves in the fall, an instant color pallet created by the beautiful Northwest,” says Monica Klau, marketing coordinator for Walker Macy, who believes that livability in Oregon is greatly enhanced by landscape architecture and nothing is more gratifying then becoming inspired by the beautiful city in which you live.

Monica has over six years of marketing experience and a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. As a native of Seattle and then Portland, Monica finds marketing the enhancement of our surroundings very rewarding. “…it’s the lush green vegetation of this region that has kept me here for so many years.”
At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her three-year-old son, and their two dogs, searching for bugs during neighborhood walks or flying kites at the Oregon coast.
