With the firm since 1995, Charles brings 14 years of experience to Walker Macy. As a landscape architect, Charles uses his expertise in sustainable design to connect people and buildings with the natural environment.

Before going to the University of Oregon and calling Portland home, Charles spent the first ten years of his life in rural New York, where "deciduous forest, creeks and swamps were my playground," says Charles. The next ten, Charles spent in the SF Bay area where he "found the diversity of Northern California's cities and landscape a constant inspiration."  Away from the office, Charlie and his family enjoy trips to Mt. Hood or wherever the fish are biting.
