CAITILIN POPE-DAUM“I want the relationship between people and the physical environment to be as symbiotic as possible,” says Caitilin Pope-Daum about her passion for landscape architecture. Before coming to Walker Macy, she received her Master's from Berkeley , and worked as a land-use consultant on the tiny, remote South Atlantic island of St Helena (the death place of Napoleon.) By the time Caitilin learned to walk, she was learning about environmental stewardship; she was born in a cabin in the redwoods, and grew up on a rural California commune with streams, 50-acres of forest, chickens, goats, and “everything that's good”. In her free time, Caitilin enjoys fresh air, playing the old-time fiddle and a good game of Ultimate Frisbee. |
