BEN VAUGHN

“Landscapes are perceived differently by everyone since they are viewed as a moment in time, ever changing as part of a dynamic environment,” says Ben Vaughn when musing about Landscape Architecture.  The University of Oregon graduate expands on that notion by saying that the art behind landscape design is to form a vision that grows with time, while always retaining its unique spirit of place.

Originally from Oregon, Ben comes to Walker Macy after five years in the Bay Area.  In his spare time, he's an explorer—flyfishing, rafting and beachcombing on the weekends.  When he's not forming unique pieces of driftwood into garden furniture, he is tapping his foot at an outdoor concert.
