LANDSCAPE DESIGNER (2 – 4 years of experience)
We are seeking a talented professional to assist with the design and production of landscape architecture and urban design projects in our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have excellent design, graphic and rendering skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUp or Rhino experience preferred) and experience producing technical drawings / document sets in AutoCAD. Strong communication skills and a willingness to take initiative are also important in our small but growing office. The position requires a professional degree in landscape architecture (BLA or MLA) and a valid work visa, if applicable.
Walker Macy has a collaborative and team-oriented professional culture with a commitment to innovative design, sustainability, and client satisfaction. Our focus is on public work – especially urban parks and waterfronts – and we also pursue a broad range of other projects including academic campuses and mixed use development. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small design studio environment and have a proven ability to prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines. Relevant experience in an office setting is required.

Digital Portfolio with work samples including at least one Cad drawing –10 pages or less, no bigger than 8.5 x 11inch page, in a print ready PDF format. Please include a brief description of the project and identify the medium used for each graphic (i.e. ACAD, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, hand rendering etc.)
