LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT (4-6 years)
Walker Macy is seeking a talented professional with four to six years of relevant experience in an office setting to assist with the design, coordination and technical development of projects as part of our growing landscape architecture, urban design and planning team in Seattle, Washington.
We have a collaborative, dynamic, and team oriented professional culture with a commitment to innovative design, sustainability, and client satisfaction. While our focus is on public work – including urban parks and waterfronts – we pursue a broad range of projects, ranging from academic campuses to mixed use development. The ideal candidate will enjoy working on teams and have a proven ability to prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines. The individual will play an integral role in the development and management of design projects from schematic design through construction documentation and administration.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
• Enjoy project design at all stages, from conceptual project development through technical drawings.
• Experience coordinating with consultant teams, architects and clients with the guidance of a Principal or Project Manager.
• Self-motivated with great communication skills (both verbally and written)
• Expertise in AutoCAD, 3D modeling programs, Adobe Suite programs and hand sketching.
• Experience preparing presentation materials (including renderings and illustrative graphics) and construction documents is required.
This position requires a professional degree in landscape architecture or architecture (BArch, MArch, BLA or MLA). Candidates must have a valid work visa, if applicable.
