Landscape Architect: Seattle, WA

Walker Macy is seeking a landscape architect with at least three to five years of relevant experience in an office setting. The individual will play an integral role in the development and production of design projects ranging from master planning to construction documentation. We are seeking a talented professional to assist with the design and production of projects as part of our landscape architecture, urban design, and planning team.  The ideal candidate is a strong designer with well-rounded skills, possessing a collaborative approach that allows them to work closely on design with our Principals, and to participate in design coordination meetings with consultant teams and client groups.  Candidate must also have experience developing projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents.  This position requires a professional degree in landscape architecture (BLA or MLA), excellent graphic and rendering skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp or Rhino experience preferred), strong grasp of AutoCAD and technical drawing, excellent verbal and written communication skills, hand sketching, and experience preparing both construction document sets and presentation materials.

Submission requirements to include the following:


Digital Portfolio with work samples including at least one Cad drawing – 10 pages or less. no bigger than 8.5 x 11 inch page, in a print-ready PDF format. Please include a brief description of the project and identify the medium used for each graphic (i.e. ACAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, hand rendering etc.)
