Dean Olson has made Walker Macy and Oregon the final stop on his career travels around the country, via California and originally, Minnesota.  Dean joins the firm as Quality Assurance/Quality Control specialist. “I love the variety of this profession and the constant challenges it presents,” says Dean about landscape architecture’s interdisciplinary nature. “I would surmise there are few professions which require as diverse a knowledge base as ours; I see it as a means of filling the voids between many other professions.  Landscape Architecture is often the first and most lasting impression upon users of a site.”
