Caitilin Pope-Daum believes that the relationship between people and the natural environment can and should be mutually beneficial. Her desire to investigate this relationship led her to landscape architecture. Before coming to Walker Macy, she received her Master's from UC Berkeley, and spent several months traveling the world to examine the influence of natural and human landscapes on each other. She also worked as a land-use consultant on the tiny, remote South Atlantic island of St. Helena. Caitilin grew up immersed in the out-of-doors; she was born and raised in rural California, surrounded by streams, forests, chickens, goats, and "everything that's good." In her free time, Caitilin enjoys playing the old-time fiddle and stocking up on fresh air and sunshine.
