NewsWALKER MACY SELECTED TO ASSIST WITH THE NEW UNIVERSITY OF OREGON ARENA Walker Macy is part of the team led by Ellerbe Becket Architects and TVA Architects working to develop a new multi-purpose collegiate sports facility. The firm is creating a design that provides an exciting and dynamic landscape that establishes a gateway to the university. Walker Macy will be responsible for the project site design and landscape development. This project involves designing a 405,000-square-foot, 12,500-seat, $200-million arena that will replace McArthur Court, built in 1926. Adjacent to the Arena site, Walker Macy is also collaborating with Opsis Architects on the University of Oregon Alumni Center.
